Sir John Tavener Memorial 2016

 

Angela is particularly delighted to announce that she has been commissioned by Lady Maryanna Tavener to design the memorial to her late husband, Sir John Tavener, at Winchester Cathedral. As John and Maryanna have been dear friends of Angela’s for many years, she had the great honour of doing a series of Portraits of the composer during his lifetime. It is with immense joy that she sets out to once again work to memorialise his spirit and his music through a sculptural memorial.
